If you’re looking for an organization that has the best interest of pain sufferers at heart, check out the American Chronic Pain Association. Their mission is quite awesome, here’s a preview:
“To facilitate peer support and education for individuals with chronic pain and their families so that these individuals may live more fully in spite of their pain..”
Here you can find a doctor, support group, relaxation guides, pain management program directory and more. They help with all types of Chronic Pain conditions.
If you’d like an online support group there are a few on Facebook, my personal favorite group is the Pelvic Congestion Syndrome support group, it’s private so no one can see what you discuss unless they are part of the group. I don’t think Mackenzie realized how amazing this would be for us all when she started the group. You can find these great ladies here: Facebook Pelvic Congestion Support Group
Also, check out The Unchargeables at https://www.facebook.com/theunchargeables/
Alliance for Pelvic Pain is for both men and women struggling with Pelvic Pain. You can check out their website here if you like Twitter you can find them at @AlliancePain.
Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation Center is also a great place to look around. @PelvicHealth is their Twitter handle.
I also really love these Instagram accounts:
If you’ve got a resource that you think should be included here, send it over in an email to TheseNext6Months@gmail.com and I will check it out!
